Thank you to St. Leonard's School
On May 6, 2005, Kathy Bickerton, a Patient/Family Representative from the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario represented the Palliative Care Team from CHEO at St. Leonard's School in Manotick. Kathy accepted 7 beautiful quilts (with 3 more to come) from an assembly of all the Grade 4, 5 & 6 students at the school. The theme of their school year was centred around giving back to the community and the students were very proud of their work for Roger's House. The students stood with the quilts on display at the front of the assembly as they presented them to Roger's House. Thank you for these very special quilts that were made for kids, by kids!
