The Ottawa Senators Foundation was contacted by season ticket holder, Jacob Polisuk in January 2004. His daughter Jordana, turned 8 years old on January 5, 2004. Each year, instead of gifts, they ask friends/family to make a donation to a charity and then Jordana selects a charity to donate to. Last year it was the Humane Society and this year, she selected Roger's House
On January 16, 2004, she presented her favourite player, and Honourary Chair of Roger's House the $403.00 that was collected from her friends and family members. Thank you Jordana for this thoughtful gesture and for the help in making Roger's House a reality!
